Why did you become a yoga/pilates instructor? 

I wanted to share the amazing benefits I had enjoyed from my own practice with others.

What is your favourite pose/exercise? 

Savasana!

Which classes do you teach at RHY? 

Sivananda Yoga @ 6pm & True Rest Meditation @ 8pm on Sunday evenings.

How long have you been an instructor? 

Seventeen years

What is your go to snack after your practise? 

I’m a bit hooked on the kale crisps from Pret a Manger, just a few moments from the studio

How do you motivate yourself to get on your mat? 

My sheer love of Yoga and meditation always get me back on the mat eventually!

Top tip for Downward Dog? 

Check that your neck and head are in correct alignment with the rest of the spine.

What would your advice be to beginners? 

Try out many styles and teachers until you discover what suits you best.

What else do you do in your spare time? 

I love being in nature, taking my dog for a walk, cinema, theatre and good food!

Where is your favourite travel destination?

I have travelled to Spain every year since I was a child, so it is a familiar and favourite destination for me.
